The movie follows Crowley the local hunters and the survivors of earlier films as they are hunted down by Crowley. The film also explores the backstory of Crowley and how he became the ghost of revenge.

The cast and crew brought the characters to life with great performances. Kane Hodder, who played Crowley was a ferocious performance to the character. The special effects utilized to bring the vengeful ghost of Crowley alive were impressive and added the horror aspect of the film.

The film's realistic special effects were a positive. They added an element of horror to the film. The pace of the film was well-constructed, and made the (blog post) audience stay on edge.

However, one of the downsides to the movie is its familiarity with other films in the series. The story can seem repetitious. The plot also felt a bit convoluted, making it hard to follow at times.

Overall, I was impressed by Hatchet III although it was the same as the two previous installments within the Hatchet film series. The film was strong in terms of practical effects and pace, but it suffered from the familiarity and plot of the plot. The film is worth watching if your a fan and you enjoy slasher flicks.
